How to play
Place exactly one king in each row and each column. Kings attack every neighbouring square, so no two kings may sit next to each other horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Because every row and column already holds exactly one king, the only way two can touch is on a diagonal — so keep neighbouring rows at least two columns apart.
Tap an empty square to drop a king, tap again to mark it with ✕ (a note that no king goes there), and once more to clear it. The kings shown in colour are given and can’t be moved. Every puzzle is generated with a single unique solution.
